![]() I do know that Priiloader allows you to block disc/online updates, but I'm not sure if Priiloader will save you from major ios errors. I've never been bricked before, so my knowledge might not be 100% correct. What you need to do is install Priiloader from Wiibrew, make a NAND backup with BootMii (that you should never delete), and you will have that extra layer of protection in case something with your system menu goes awry. Priiloader can be loaded before the system menu starts, so if you get bricked from a bad wad you can load directly into Priiloader, and then get into Homebrew Channel and WADManager to remove the bad wad or BootMii so you can reinstall your NAND backup. ![]() Priiloader is excellent and should be compatible with every system (I think). I now have a working USB loader and hopefully a pretty safe Wii. I may be wrong, but it seemed that I really could follow every step and acctually understand what all the different pieces did to my poor Wii :-) I was a little reluctant to ModMii and choose to follow the instructions on instead. I now have Priiloader installed and it seems to be working fine. Some custom IOS'es and a USB loader to run glorious backup games?Ī whole bunch of questions unloaded. If PriiLoader should/will be installed whats next after that? Is PriiLoader compatible with Letterbomb and with my Wii? ![]() I have read that installing PriiLoader will get me an extra protection against bricking since my BootMii only could be installed as IOS. When I start HBC I also got these version numbers: IOS58 v24.32 This went well and I now have BootMii installed as an IOS (I think that's correct, I couldn't install it as boot2) and I also have the Homebrew Channel installed (version 1.0.8). I have a Wii version 4.3E that I hacked with Letterbomb last night. I'm new regarding modding Wii, but I'm learning so bare with me :-) ![]() I'll add to the current influx of Letterbomb posts with a couple of questions. ![]()
